Supper Club

The Vegetarian Cookery School held their first Supper Club in Bath recently.  London have had supper clubs for years and Bristol have a few but we believe this was the first supper club to be held in the city of Bath.  A supper club is, in essence, an informal occasion where people meet to enjoy food and conversation and at the end of what should be an interesting evening with good food the supper clubbers are asked to pay what they feel the meal is worth.

The Vegetarian Cookery School opened their doors to twenty enthusiastic clubbers and we were treated to a delicious menu of six courses of freshly prepared, seasonal produce based on Middle Eastern flavours.  The Lebanese thyme flat breads were particularly tasty, you'll find the recipe in our Foodies Area.  You can follow this link to the Vegetarian Cookery School to read more about the evening in a blog.
